Well, here are some photos of The Dove, as promised. After the ladies had done 'The race for Life' in the morning [a three mile charity run] We loaded up The Dove with enough food and wine to last a day or two. We were having a lovely day on the River Avon at Stratford upon Avon, watching the Dragon Racers..........................................
Going through the second lock our propeller fell off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As you will be able to see from the photo 'Dove minus prop'
So The Dove is abandoned down stream and we had a heck of a walk [even though I stated we had enough rations to last 24 hours at least]. Lovely day for it though, and i can think of at least a million places that could have been worse.
